have you guys met my family?

so with the exception of my grandpa, i really love my family. everyone is always like "damn that's fucked up, how can you hate your GRANDPA?" but there are just some things in life that you can't let go. and i can't let go of some of the things he's done to my mom (past and present) because i love and admire my mom too much. her heart's so big that she was able to forgive him and all his dumbass actions! but i'm afraid that's not the case with me. i didn't even want him in the picture but as you can see, he's next to my mom cus she urged him to be in it. heh

the 2 little girls you see are my younger sisters. we're 11 and 13 years apart! crazy, huh? they're actually my half sisters because that guy up there is my stepdad and my sisters' biological dad. i love my sisters to death, i'd do anything for them. the older one is at that age where popularity is EVERYTHING. she swears by her cell and does what normal 12 year old girls do her age. we used to fight often because she thinks she knows better than me sometimes. but no, little one, i control you. what i say, goes. which is why she's forbidden to have myspace until she's in high school. what i love about her, though, is her big heart. she takes care of the little one.. cooks for her, cleans up after her, looks after her since i've moved out. she's considerate and very passionate.

the little one aka brat, is my favorite. i know i'm not supposed to have favorites but i can't help it. they say the oldest and youngest always get along the best. i used to take care of her as a baby and she'd cryyy if i wasn't by her side. she's a tomboy and if you go into her room, you'll see sports equipment EVERYWHERE (i.e., baseball, baseball bat, basketball, tennis rackets, tennis balls, soccer ball, etc.) she loves running around and being athletic, she hates being stuck in the house. she's a brat to everyone except to me. i'm stern but loving towards her and she knows not to push my buttons. she likes to interrupt conversations which is pretty annoying but what can i say, she's just 10! people used to mistake her as my daughter..

my stepdad is a great dad to my sisters. he's a great husband to my mom. he's been a real great mentor to me. he's quiet and very wise. he doesn't like showing his emotions too much but he's grown a lot since i've known him. he used to be a drunk and a gambling addict. we once almost lost everything we had because of his gambling addiction! but he's over that now and has definitely made it up to my family. he's always given me great advice about life... that i still hold dear to my heart 'til this very day. so i'm very grateful to have him in our lives.

and my mom. i know everyone thinks their moms are the best.. but i would most definitely have to say my mom is one of the strongest women i have ever known. she and i have a past that rarely anyone knows about (not even my stepdad and sisters!). we share a haunted past and i think that is what keeps our relationship very close. we don't talk about it but it's there in our hearts. i honestly think we were born to be sisters but instead i was blessed to have her as my mom. the thing is though, we can't live under the same roof because we bump heads alllll the time. she can be a bitch. like me. haha. but i love her.
