what a year.

in 2008, i:
-quit smoking cigarettes (yesterday was the 1 year anniversary)
-total'd my car and got my first loan for a new car (eck to car payments!)
-quit my job at a company I worked 3 years for
-started a new job and life far from friends and family
-went back to school (and got straight A's, thank you)
-plummeted financially
-lost a good friend (not by death, knock on wood)
-lost my grandfather on my dad's side (to death, unfortunately)

overall, i was tested. i think i was tested this year more than i've ever been. i had to work harder, think straighter and have my faith tested. yes, it was a tough fucking year. on the upside, i'm marching into 2009 as a stronger person. i've accomplished what i wanted to (and more) in 2008 and i enter the new year with higher hopes and my head held high.
