it's very random but i thought about it earlier today and realized it should be shared with everyone because of its rich meaning and lesson.
it was maybe 5-6 years ago that i decided i was going to take my sisters out to dinner. on the way out, i noticed the mail had come in so i retrieved it to put it inside. in the stack of mail was a package addressed to me and i opened it right away. (i was super curious, i had never gotten a package like that unless i ordered something online and even then, i was too skeptical to order things online so you can imagine the height of my curiosity!)
now imagine my shock when i saw that it was my wallet. (!#*&#$@#%) someone was nice enough to accompany my wallet with a note that briefly stated something along the lines of "hi tina, you dropped this outside of target and thought i should mail it to you." (i had taken a trip to Target the day before) the gesture was so touching that i immediately knew i had to compensate this generous person somehow. the only problem was there was no return address.
you know, it might one of those experiences that someone has to go through themselves to fully appreciate such a moment but i thought it would be a great story to share all the same. i think it's refreshing to know that people like this actually exist and that a simple gesture can go a long way.

That's an awesome story. It's great to see that there are still people out there in which God is working inside of them. I try to be that way and live honestly every day. I'm glad you got your wallet back.
