sunset cruisin'.

i originally made reservations to take this sunset cruise in Newport at the beginning of last month. i found a great deal online and figured it would be a nice evening out but due to lack of communication and unfortunate circumstances that frustrated me to disbelief, we decided to reschedule.. and finally, we got around to doing it this past Saturday.

we arrived at Balboa Island earlier than expected so we killed time with ice cream and beach watching. shortly after we hopped on the Ocean Adventure and toured the harbor and bay. they offered free chips and salsa and we opted for the $15 unlimited drink ticket before getting onboard, which proved to be a good investment. i don't know what makes sunsets so romantic but i always feel extra special in z's arms when watching the colors of the sky fade into darkness.

it just feels so right.
