could today have been any more gorgeous?

no, i don't think it could have. the weather was perfect - warm sun rays and cool breezes simultaneously passed through our blinds, blessing our home and reminding us that Sundays are meant for taking it easy.

unfortunately we didn't make it to the bully meet-up yesterday, we.. *gulp*.. overslept, but we made it up to emi by taking her to the park this afternoon for a good game of fetch. i almost dozed off in the shade while z and emi played... the breezes were tempting me.

soon, it'll be time for dinner and the apartment is already filling up with the aroma of chili (a dish that z has perfected). emi and i are already trying to sneak in a taste and i've decided to have mine in a sourdough bowl. drool.

... and this is how Sunday should be, don't you agree?
