strange weather around here lately - we've been struck by lightening, yelled at by thunder, scolded by the vicious heat, and done dirty by the humidity. it's been gross and muggy, definitely not how i pictured Fall starting. hopefully this weather will let up and we'll begin seeing temperatures (and our electric bill) drop.on another note, we have new neighbors. i introduced myself to the young gal and her friends whilst she was moving in. she told me she was expecting her roommate the following day. she's young... like, party young. in fact, she had a party the first night. it wasn't too loud, although z informed me the next morning that he heard someone puking in the bushes below our bedroom window in the middle of the night and i also found a bunch of cigarette butts littered about.
i understand what it's like to be that age and moving out for the first time, so i'm not too concerned about it. plus it was a friday night and probably a housewarming shindig, so see? i can be understanding. but i don't like having my limits pushed by bad neighbors and believe me, we've had our share of 'em. i just hope i won't have to open a can of whoop-ass on somebody. i mean seriously, haven't you guys heard of an ashtray?
