mundane monday.

as dreary and wet as it was this morning, it didn't stop me and emi from doing our usual walk around the block. the walkers/joggers we typically encounter were nowhere to be seen, leaving the sidewalks open for the taking. emi is a great walking partner because she tends to naturally walk at a fast pace so she lets me know when i'm slacking. :)

after a good 2 hour nap upon our return, we went to my friend Jenn's house to celebrate her birthday. she is one awesome chick that i had the honor of meeting at school last semester. i always say that we were "fated" to meet.
