last night z and i spent a good half hour just watching emi sleep comfortably by his side. she loves to cuddle and we love that she loves to cuddle, especially on cold nights. we commented on every aspect of her and asked ourselves how we ever got so lucky. every now and then she would turn and look at us as if to say she knew we were taking about her and that she, too, felt happy to be there. oh emi, you are joy in its purest form.
